A Workshop on Transits, Transitions, and Transformation

In 2026, four of the five outer planets move fully into new signs, signaling a period of major endings and beginnings for each one of us, and for the world. In our time together, we will delve into what those archetypal shifts mean, and how to make the most of their opportunities. We’ll look at where we are discovering new truths (Jupiter), becoming our own authority (Saturn), healing core issues (Chiron), breaking from tradition (Uranus), opening to metaphysical realities (Neptune), and integrating our shadow (Pluto).

Come explore the transformative power of the planets and signs from an evolutionary point of view, and how breath and movement practices, astrodrama and art, tuning forks and flower essences, can facilitate our understanding and growth. In addition to detailed handouts, you’ll receive a personal transit chart, a listing of your current transits, and learn how to gain empowering insights from both past and future times of change. Participants should be familiar with the astrological planets, signs, and houses, or read Steven Forrest’s book The Inner Sky before the workshop.

We’ll meet, be nourished, and recharge at Indralaya, a lovely retreat and educational center, nature sanctuary, and multigenerational community based on the Theosophical principles of altruism, ahimsa, and the pursuit of truth. Located in the beautiful San Juan Islands near Seattle, Indralaya encompasses 78 acres, with waterfront and wooded trails, rustic cabins, vegetarian/vegan meals, and a large metaphysical library. Space is limited to 20.
